Pilotage

INTERNATIONAL SUPPLIER PAYMENTS

Bring certainty to every overseas supplier payment.

Pilotage turns a supplier invoice into a controlled payment instruction—comparing available routes and rates, capturing approvals and preserving the rate selected before funds move.

The Pilotage quote desk with a comparison open: the workspace sidebar, the invoice being priced, and two routes side by side carrying the rate, the total, the fee, the arrival time and the stored quote behind each.
The approval trail on one payment: two approvals recorded, one of them an owner, each with a name, a role and the time it was signed.

One invoice, every route priced beside it, and a name against every approval.

Every step leaves a record you can hand to your bank: what you were quoted, who approved it, and what the settlement partner sent back.

Compliance verifies the business and sets its risk tier.

A payment instruction is created, approved and submitted only after that decision is on the record, and a route is approved for payment on the same condition. The decision is made in compliance review, outside your workspace, so it stays independent of the people who raise payments.

Compliance review
A compliance reviewer's screen for one business: its verification status, the risk tier it was given, the documents on file, and the decision form carrying the source of funds and sanctions review checks.
02 · INVOICE INTAKE

An uploaded invoice waits in quarantine until a scan releases it.

Every stored invoice has a check behind it. A route comparison reads an invoice once that check comes back clean, and a scan that finds a threat rejects the invoice with a stated reason your team can see.

Evidence
The invoice register, four rows deep, with a file scan column reading clean, pending and blocked, and one invoice rejected outright with the reason it was refused stated beside it.
03 · ROUTE COMPARISON

Every route is priced against the same invoice and ranked in front of you.

Each candidate is stored with its rate, its spread and its expiry before you see the comparison, so you can prove afterwards what you were quoted. The saving shown on each route is measured against an indicative bank wire for the same corridor. Approving a route reads its stored quote again and refuses a rate, a currency pair or an expiry that has moved.

Route comparison
Four routes priced against one invoice and ranked, each carrying its rate, its spread, its fee, how long it takes to arrive and the saving it makes against the bank wire listed at the bottom.
Route comparison
The stored quote behind one route: the currency pair, the rate, the spread in basis points, where the price came from, when it was quoted, when it expires, and the payment it was used for.
The stored quoteRoutes can be ranked by lowest cost, fastest arrival, most predictable, or a balanced default. The quote behind the route you pick keeps its own rate, spread and expiry, and the payment that follows points back at it.
04 · APPROVAL

A second person signs the instruction before it leaves draft.

Your workspace sets who has to sign. The default puts two approvals on a high-value payment or a stablecoin route, one of them an owner, and the person who raised it is never one of them. One person can sign a payment once, and the database itself holds that limit, so no code path goes around it.

Approval trail
The approval policy in force on one payment beside the two approvals recorded against it, each approval carrying a name, a role and the time it was signed.
05 · SETTLEMENT

The instruction goes to your settlement partner and the record follows it.

The partner's confirmation is accepted on a signature match inside a five-minute window, recorded once, and only then allowed to move the payment. A payment's status only ever advances, so a late confirmation carrying an earlier status is stored and set aside. One that matches no payment goes to a queue where a person resolves it against the payment it belongs to.

Payment receipt
One payment's full timeline, from the instruction being created through the signed partner confirmation that settled it, with a later confirmation set aside for arriving out of order.
Reconciliation
The reconciliation queue holding a partner confirmation that matched no payment, shown with the reason it was held and the person it is waiting on.
The reconciliation queueEvery confirmation is kept. One that matches no payment is stored with its reason and queued for a person to resolve, and the same partner event is recorded exactly once.
Live demonstration

Bring one of your own invoices.

You will watch it priced across every route open to your corridor, approved by the people your policy names, and handed to your settlement partner with a record your bank will accept.
